John Carlson

John Carlson joined NeoNova to help develop and position the company for growth. He previously worked for Azure Capital at one of its other portfolio companies, Zend Technologies. And earlier, he was a key management contributor at another Silicon Valley success story, Tessera Technologies.
 
Mr. Carlson has been CEO, COO and CFO of diverse companies, both public and private. He has led and built companies at every stage of their product and business lifecycles. He has extensive experience in the communications industry from the product, services and solutions vantage points. He began his career at General Instrument, and then was program manager for both TCI and Contec, LP in the cable industry, and consulted for Genuity in the telecommunications industry.
 
Mr. Carlson earned his MBA, Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. His consulting firm, System Change, located in Andover, MA, supports executives, VC’s and private equity managers in improving performance and building high-valuation operating companies.
